Portfolio sharing can be done with other Canvas or Brightspace users or an external party.
Note: You must always give someone access to your Portfolio before you can ask that person for feedback.
For some schools: Before you can give a teacher or student access to your portfolio, they must have already opened Portflow.
Manage who you share your portfolio with
From the home page of your portfolio
By clicking 'shared with:' on your Portflow home page or a collection homepage, you as a user will see a list of people with whom you have shared the entire portfolio or several collection(s). Here you will see the following things:
If this person has not yet accepted the invitation, the status is 'pending' (1)
The date when this person's access will be automatically revoked and the option to extend this period (2)
The possibility to revoke access (3)
When a person declines the invitation or the access has expired, they disappear from the list
Via 'My access and requests'
It is possible to get an overview of who you have shared your portfolio with. Go to the ‘My access and requests' (1) page, In the shares tab, there are two headings: 'Shares with me' and ’Shares by me'.
Under the heading ’Shares (by me)' (2) you will see a list of items and people with whom you have shared collection(s) or the entire portfolio. You can also find here the start and end date when access is managed for this person. On the three dots (3) you can extend or revoke access.
The lock icon (4) is displayed for visitors who have limited visibility on feedback. This person can only see their own and your comments and progress evaluations. The little house with the cross is displayed for external visitors (who do not have a Canvas or Brightspace account).
